For Botanical IV, Nadine added alcohol inks with beeswax to fuse a batik-like style for this encaustic. With the aid of a heat torch flame, she melted the wax into an abstract flower in red. A milk white background strengthens this floral foreground, and gives this wax work a bold appeal.
