The bright orange blossoms of this encaustic piece are juxtaposed with a milk white background. It’s beeswax material is soft to the touch, with Nadine having used the flame of a heat torch to fuse this floral into composition. The addition of alcohol inks provides a batik-like style to the flowers and stalks.
