For Floral I Nadine added alcohol inks with beeswax to fuse a batik-like style for this encaustic. With the aid of a heat torch flame, she melted the wax into composition and kept the background a milk white to enhance the flower. As a borderless piece this encaustic also reads beyond it’s 6 x 6-inch dimensions.
