For this abstract botanical series, Nadine Koski fused beeswax and alcohol inks using the flame of a heat torch. Each of the four 6 x 6-inch encaustics features a milk white background that emphasizes the flowers’ batik-like style. This common white backdrop also allows these four works to group especially well, as the eye travels seamlessly from one piece to the next.
