In Charlie Dalton’s latest works organic shapes lay repeated like river stones, often in striking ombré color schemes. He first started hooking wool rugs when he joined a local rug hooking guild led by his wife’s mother. He soon found that he too loved the soothing practice of looping wool through linen.
When he completed his first rug, in 2017, it was clear Charlie’s artistic talents were well suited for fine fiber art. Today he continues to hand-hook wool onto linen to create art in the form of rugs. Whether displayed below on your floor or at eye-level on a wall, each of Charlie’s rugs exude immediate beauty that well define today’s handcrafted luxury.
