Nancy Wallace
Nancy Wallace creates sculptural art in the form of functional journals. She makes these one of a kind works in both wood and leather. For her carved and painted basswood journals, she uses a centuries old Ethiopian technique to intricately sew an open spine. She also binds books with leather sourced from a local baseball mitt factory. Nancy’s most recent accolades include the Best of Tennessee Craft exhibit. She lives just down the mountain in Winchester, Tennessee.
